Detox & Weight Loss Recipe 1: Green Smoothie
The name says it all. All your greens such as spinach, kale and lettuce assist with detoxification and they consist of vital vitamins that we require on a daily basis. These vegetables are packed with iron, calcium and much more.
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 banana, chopped
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1 cup spinach or kale
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1-2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- A few ice cubes
- Combine the lettuce, spinach or kale and place into a blender. Blend these ingredients until they are well combined.
- Add the remainder of the ingredients into the blender and blend on high until the mixture is nice and smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a serving glass and add the ice cubes.
This recipe also consists of other ingredients, which are not only healthy but give it a pleasant and appealing taste. The apple, cinnamon, banana and coconut water enhances this smoothie. So you can enjoy this smoothie and still detox at the same time.
