Detox & Weight Loss Recipe 5: Banana Pancakes

A tasty, irresistible and a very healthy pancake recipe! Add this recipe to your detoxification and weight loss diet. This recipes ingredients are also packed with potassium and protein. It also has some iron in it. There is much to gain from this pancake.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 banana
  • 1 scoop plant based vanilla protein powder
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 strawberries, sliced finely (optional

Method

  1. Beat all of the above ingredients together. Leave the strawberries aside.
  2. Add the strawberries to the mixture. The strawberries give the pancakes a pleasant taste.
  3. Pour the mixture into a pan and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Once it is cooked, remove from the pan and transfer it to a plate. You may sprinkle more cinnamon if desired.

This pancake is ideal to have at breakfast time or brunch. It is also very easy and quick to prepare. This pancake also has a pleasant taste as it contains many healthy and delicious ingredients. You may even garnish this pancake with additional fruits such as blueberries, strawberries and kiwis.
